The Lord has chosen our city Vancouver to be called Womb of the Homecoming Movement. Since Chinese believers have been called to be the forerunner and take spiritual leadership in our generation, we (Chinese Churches in Vancouver) are given double favor and mission! As the Homecoming has reached 30+ nations, the Lord is rapidly expanding His work in the Kingdom. In the meantime, He is also working on unity in local cities. He is calling some forerunner cities to come to deeper unity, so that His sovereignty and authority can truly carry out! As Renew Family pastors and leaders, we are convicted that Vancouver is called to be one of such forerunner cites!

The first Gathering here in Vancouver in September 2009 is what initiated the Homecoming gathering in Asia, especially the journey for China. The Lord also use “Esther Arise” 1111 gathering in November 2017 to bring alignment with the Father’s heart. Starring from that gathering, the Lord continue to raise up North America Gatherings at Forerunner Church in Fremont, Convergence Gathering at IHOPKC, as well as in the East Coast. All of these gatherings were “birthed” through Vancouver. And now, the Lord is about to activate this Mother Womb Vancouver again!

September 9 is very unique. It is the beginning of the 5779 Jewish New Year, Feast of Trumpet, and also the ending time of 40 day global fasting. And that day happened to be a Sunday! Leviticus 23:23 - 25 recorded what the Lord says concerning Feast of Trumpet: Observe the Feast! Call the Holy assembly! Blow the shofar! Bring the burn offering! Ezra 3:1 also describe that in Jewish New Year, Israelites will gather in Jerusalem TOGETHER As ONE! Accordingly, we shall have a joint Sunday service on Sept 9! We will blow the shofar in the evening, and open up the new page for year 5779, TOGETHER AS ONE!

As Israel and China are both coming to their 70th year anniversary, the Lord is choosing Vancouver, the mother womb again. He is about the release a shout and the trumpet sound from Zion (Joel 2:1)! May the churches in Vancouver come together and declare: "Father, may the Chinese churches in Vancouver come Together As One, as we seek Your face alone. May Vancouver welcome Her King, and become the kingdom of our Lord and His Christ!
